A 14 years old girl accidentally shot dead by Nigerian police officer
A 14 years old school girl was shot dead on Monday 18th march 2019. By a police officer (unknown) at Adamo bus stop Ikorodu.
It was said that
The police officer was doing a stop and search routing, on searching he collected an iPhone from a guy saying his a Yahoo boy, which turns to a serious argument, while on the struggle to collect his phone, the officer allegedly brought out a gun and mistakenly fired and the bullet went straight to the innocent little girl of 14 years who was washing dishes by her mother’s shop, what a pity.
The (PPRO) of the Lagos State police command DSP Bala Elkana confirmed the incident and said the policeman who fired the shot is currently in our custody and that the matter is still under investigation.
