Suspected criminals set free in Plateau State by suspected gun men

Correctional officials transporting 14 criminals charged with different serious offences were attacked by suspected gun men believe to be herdsmen close to the Plateau High Court in Barin Ladi

The gunmen launched the attack at the entrance of the court premises and freed six suspected criminals.

Based on the comment from the Plateau State commandant of the Nigeria correctional service, Mr Musa disclosed that the commissioner of police was not notified of the hearing date of the special criminal court proceedings

However, some of the suspected gun men have been arrested, which two motorcycles belongs to the suspects have also been recovered.
