A man tweeted on his page the childhood experience that made him become a feminist.

Chuka Nwanazia share the story of a friend and playmate called Halima who they both grew up together in Asaba.

He tweeted:

While growing up in Asaba, I had this neighbor & friend called Halima. We used to play a lot together. One day her dad took her back to Katsina to marry an old Alhaji. Halima was only 12 & died at childbirth. She’s the reason I became a feminist. I still see her in my dreams.
