A 21 year old Tunisia national known as Brahim Aioussao who travelled from Tunisia to the Italian island of Lampedusa in September was named as the attacker of church in nice. He happened to have killed 3 people using a knife and attack have been confirmed to be Islamic terrorist related.
Nice Mayor Christian Estrosi said the suspect had “repeated endlessly ‘Allahu Akbar’ (God is great)”. Different parts of France have been targeted report also say that a suspected attack has been foiled in Saudi arabia.
France has been place on high security alert and this coincide with the rise of covid-19 infection which the French government is fighting.
Speaking after visiting Nice, President Macron said: “If we are attacked once again it is for the values which are ours: freedom, for the possibility on our soil to believe freely and not to give in to any spirit of terror and continue to say that the country will not surrender its values
